The CCU scholarship is offered for qualified foreign students covering tuition, on-campus accomodation and living expense per semester (four months) of a certain amount of stipend according to the annual budgets. (5) Application deadline: March 31 for fall semester and October 31 for spring semester. Selection results will be announced before May 30 for fall semester and December 31 for spring semester. Extra stipend from program advisor's research projects is about $200 ~ 300 USD per month (depended), which nearly cover all living expense in everyday life generally. A meal is about $2 ~$3 USD. Bus ticket from the campus to Chia-Yi Train station ~= $2 USD. Train/Bus ticket from Chia-Yi to Taipei (capital of Taiwan) is about $15~30 USD, take 2 ~ 5 hours a trip. * 1 USD ~= 30 TWD.
